Day 114/365: Seneca on the length of life

Welcome to The Stoic Ledger, a daily money meditation from one of the Stoic sages.
114/365: Seneca on the length of life
“Show me that the good life doesn’t consist in its length, but in its use, and that it is possible—no, entirely too common—for a person who has had a long life to have lived too little.” – Seneca
Shape your days to use your life. Not so your final age is stretched to a long number, but that your time was used well.
What does concept of using life well mean to you?
Is it deploying resources instead of hoarding them?
Is it gifting during life instead of after?
Is it the more enjoyable job with less economics?
Is it the house in the nice neighborhood, or the house that’s in the most useful location?
The achievement rest not in a number of years lived, but what was held inside of each year, how well they were used.
